VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Job Title: Deputy Grants Manager

FOR INTERNAL & EXTERNAL STAFF

The Governance Commission located on 9th Street, Sinkor, is seeking to hire a qualified Liberian for the position of Deputy Grants Manager, in supporting the work of the Commission.  

As, Deputy Grants Manager your duties include but not limited to the following:

 

  • Perform other duties consistent with the function of the unit as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

 

 

 

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:              

  • Candidate must be a Liberian;
  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or Master, its equivalent and at least three (3) years of experience in policy/program and financial analysis;
  • Must be able to provide intellectual and management leadership among peers and have excellent writing skills;
  • Must be able to develop project proposal to meet donor standards and possesses lobbying/negotiation skills
  • High level research experience or practitioner equivalent is mandatory for this position;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in a professional work environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;
  • Excellent communication, negotiating and writing skills; proven ability to work closely with public, non-governmental, international and civil society organizations in complex undertakings;
  • Be computer literate and verse in the use of Microsoft Suites e.g. Word, Power Point, Publisher, Excel; etc.
  • Provide vision for organizational growth.

Duty Station:     Monrovia, Liberia

Salary will commensurate with qualification, experience and with three months’ probation.

  • Quality of references, one of which must come from immediate past supervisor;

  • Background search.
